Pregnancy Help Podcast is debuting a new podcast series that gives an inside look at the impact of providing first line pregnancy help.

Option Line, Heartbeat International’s 24/7 helpline, serves thousands in need each week, and the new FrontLine15 series allows listeners to hear from the people answering calls and messages, connecting women and families with pregnancy help, a front row seat to see the difference that being there can make.

Heartbeat International is the largest network of pregnancy help organizations in the U.S. and the world. Option Line is the only fully staffed, bilingual pro-life contact center in the U.S. and receives inquiries by call, text, chat, its center locator, and website 24/7. It has connected more than nine million to pregnancy help since opening in 2003 and surpassed 2 million connections in 2025 alone.

While the numbers are notable, the human connection behind them exemplifies the lives impacted behind the statistics. Option Line consultants help women and men in need find pregnancy help near to them and provide a human lifeline to individuals who may be frightened, feeling pressured by their situation, or are otherwise vulnerable and facing a pregnancy decision.

Launched by Heartbeat in 2018, Pregnancy Help Podcast creates and hosts key conversations by bringing together leaders, experts, and frontline voices from across the pregnancy help community to discuss the issues that shape and impact the movement. Topics include leadership, client care, legal updates, fundraising, marketing, testimony, fatherhood, news, devotionals, and many others. Pregnancy Help Podcast surpassed 100,000 listens this past August.

The FrontLine15 series is the latest critical pregnancy help discussion to be hosted by the podcast, with stories directly from Option Line.

The idea came about after a recent video project capturing testimonies from Option Line consultants. Multimedia Specialist and Pregnancy Help Podcast Producer Lauren Bell said it is a great opportunity to spread the word about the wonderful work happening through the helpline.

“People need to hear stories from the frontlines of the helpline to appreciate the amazing conversations that are taking place and the lives that are being saved and changed because of those conversations,” Bell told Pregnancy Help News.

Episodes are 15 minutes or less and consist of an interview and conversation. Bell will produce them with Option Line Director Nafisa Kennedy hosting each episode.

“We hope to share impactful insights alongside this brief glimpse into hotline connections,” Kennedy said. “Each episode invites Option Line consultants to share a few impactful stories.”

Kennedy said they will likely delve into the consultants’ “why” – their personal reasons for serving with the 24/7 hotline and what keeps them motivated to continue - and possibly any trending topics or themes they have observed on the hotline. A specific theme may or may not be the subject matter, with the human impact of pregnancy help always at hand.

The first episode has the theme of gospel seeds planted during calls. November’s planned episode theme will be the impact Option Line’s bilingual consultants are having with Spanish speaking callers.

Consultants have raised their hand to share, Kennedy said, and the podcast, which will feature a new episode monthly, really is centered around the hotline stories.

Both she and Bell are eager to provide listeners with an accessible look at the world of Option Line consultants serving and providing compassionate support to so many people in need.

“Option Line consultants connect with thousands of hotline contacts each week,” Kennedy said. “This podcast series gives listeners a rare glimpse into our ministry, and episodes are short enough that you can listen during a drive to the grocery store or on your way to work.”

“If you’ve ever wondered what happens when they call 800-712-Help,” she said, this is a great opportunity to find out.”
